Sonendo, Inc. is dedicated to fostering a culture of and conducting itself in compliance with the ethical, legal and regulatory standards that govern its operations and relationships with healthcare professionals, employees, customers, vendors, government and other third-party payors. The company is dedicated to conducting itself in compliance with these standards. The program incorporates the seven (7) elements of an effective compliance program recommended by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
Elements of Sonendo’s Program are outlined in the Sonendo Code of Conduct. The Program includes a designated Compliance Officer and a Compliance Committee with the responsibility for establishing a culture of compliance, guiding and fostering compliance communications with employees, monitoring compliance with company policies, and taking corrective and/or disciplinary action when necessary. The Program includes processes for audits and on-going monitoring of adherence to compliance policies. In addition, an anonymous compliance hotline exists for those individuals who feel more comfortable using this mechanism to report compliance concerns.
The Program also includes a comprehensive set of written policies and procedures that address those compliance risks applicable to the company and help to ensure compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing the marketing and promotion of our products.
Based on the above described Program, Sonendo declares it is following its Comprehensive Compliance Program and California Health and Safety Code §§ 119400-119402.
